Welcome Valx, I going to get

Welcome Valx,

I going to get this started by taking a guess that you are referring to TC as meaning "Total Commander" ???
If not please clarify what app you are referring to.
A link would be very useful.
The more information you can give up front the easier it will be to help you.

I am guessing the devs will be better able to give you feed back if you tell them how you created the "self extraction executable" in the first place.

Again, Welcome to Portableapps.com Smile

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

www.tcup.eu It's a software

www.tcup.eu

It's a software package based on Total Commander.
You won't do this because you can't distribute it.

2 vlax: there's 4.5 already. Blum
Better ask about specific issues at TC UP forum.

Total Commander Ultra Prime 4.3

well, i am referring to the new version of Total Commander Ultra Prime 4.3, i did a self extraction exe with winrar but its not useful because it have to many files and it takes to long to uncompress, the best solution is to make it portable by your own way, which i dont know what it is, and no its not for distribute.

Rar is not portabilization.

Rar is not portabilization. It doesn't help at all and can actually hurt in case of so called "drive letter portable" programs.

Up to PA.com nomenclature, TC UP is (mostly) mobile by itself, which means that you can put it on a pendrive and it will work, IIRC with exception of a few programs.
No modifications are needed to achieve this, just plug and play.
