NotePad++ on CD?

Is it possible to run NotePad++ directly from CD? IT security at work is longer allowing the use of thumbdrives.

Burn it, give it a try, and report back.

I'd assume it will run, but won't be able to save it's settings back to the \Data directory (naturally) and it might squawk about that.
