Fatal Error when starting an OO application12Bernie - March 10, 2009 - 4:21am
I installed PortableApps Suite 1.5 with Open Office on an USB stick. When i now try to start one of the OpenOffice Applications under XP SP3 an Fatal Error occures. Which says that the user language can't be detected ???? ( categories: )

Hi, there is a bug in the new automatic language switching
. Disable that new feature and try again.

solution did NOT work
closed the portableapp task and added
[Localization]
DisableAppLanguageSwitching=true
to PortableAppsMenu.ini and relaunched the plattform
....but i still get the Fatal Error.
PS. i know it's not the nice way to do it... but if i unplugg my USB stick
before closing down PortableApps, the process can't be killed
via the shortcuts in the startbar anymore...
Ok,
you have unplugged the stick before closing the portable apps? Maybe your installation is corrupted now, so try a new install/update.
