Abandoned dev-tests

As I've been browsing around through the forums, there are a lot of apps that made it to the dev test level but then just kind of died out and are really out of date. Updating an app is often quite a bit easier than starting from scratch and I know that I often have some time to work on an app, but not enough to start from scratch, and that updating an app often goes quite a bit more quickly than creating a new app, so I had a thought. Perhaps we could get a list together of dead/abandoned dev-test level releases and see if we can get new people to pick them up and bring them up-to-date. Maybe we can even get some of these to official release level. Off the top of my head, I can only think of Scribus and Project64, which are the reason I thought to make this post, and I actually picked up Project64 myself, so I thought maybe other people might consider doing the same.

Pre-releases (aka "release candidates" -- almost release worthy)
Scribus Portable
Needs: Updated to latest version, long-term support

Development Tests(aka "alpha" or "beta" -- needs testing and probably bugfixing)
...none yet...

Yes, I know this isn't technically a "list" at the moment, I'm going to do some browsing and add apps as I find them or as other people do. If you find an app that should go on the list, drop a link in the comments.

There's the whole list of

There's the whole list of outdated betas on the bottom of the test releases page.

I guess a way to do this more effectively would be to compile your list and give it to John to update that table with.

Ok

I've been to that list, guess I just never scrolled down all the way. Will do.
