[FIXED] Did 0.7.19 Portable wipe out previous version for anyone else? Submitted by ImmortalMonkey on May 17, 2009 - 8:45pm
I downloaded and installed the new 0.7.19 and it wiped out my previous folder in lieu of the new one. Fortunately I was smart enough to make a backup of my previous folder but did this happen to anyone else? I tried twice and both times my whole directory is overwritten. ( categories: )

What Was Overwritten?
What was overwritten? Everything in Data is preserved in my tests, as with previous versions of Miranda IM Portable.

Not over written, deleted.
As I watched the installer start the process I could see it flash a bunch of "Deleting" strings before it went to install the new version. Just did it a third time and everything is deleted first then installed a fresh copy.

Ah, looks like the new installer isn't preserving your Miranda plugins right? My apologies. I'll fix that now... thanks for the bug report.
