I know that there's an older post requesting Aptana and your response was that i would come when Java Portable was ready... Thanks in advance ( categories: )

It's quite a coincidence as just today a friend pointed this out to me at work I now back at home I was just about to request this when Surprise Surprise floflies has = )
Seems a great app. Java Portable has made quite a lot of progress with the Java Portablizer so what do you guys think?
EDIT: Was just thinking a possibility may be to offer an Aptana version od Eclipse though this may be problematic in that it creates a lot of bloat in having Eclipse running just to run Aptana.

here how
1-Set up your java
2-Portablize it with Java_Portablizer
3-Put the java in aptana folder then rename it to "jre"
4-Say, Aptana is here [letter]:\PortableApps\Aptana
Copy all files from
c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Aptana\Aptana Studio\configuration
into
[letter]:\PortableApps\Aptana\configuration
Edit
[letter]:\PortableApps\Aptana\configuration\config.ini
Remove
#osgi.instance.area.default=@user.home/My Documents/Aptana Studio
#osgi.configuration.area=@user.home/Application Data/Aptana/Aptana Studio/configuration
#osgi.user.area=@user.home/Application Data/Aptana/Aptana Studio/user
And add
osgi.instance.area.default=configuration
osgi.configuration.area=configuration
osgi.user.area=configuration/user
Open
[letter]:\PortableApps\Aptana\configuration\.settings\org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs
And change this
RECENT_WORKSPACES=[letter]\:\\PortableApps\\Aptana\\workspace
on this
RECENT_WORKSPACES=workspace

Thank you very much, you have no idea how useful your information was to me - and should be for anyone interested in this kind of apps -, I'm using Aptana on my office computer just to make sure it is completely portable (at home worked just fine).

can you please make a
can you please make a portable version of aptana yourself to upload here PLEASE...you have no idea the trouble i went throught and am still going through to make vuze a portable app, and i cant even access my appdata, as i use vista, and it wont let you gain access to it... im still trying to get vuze portable, waiting on ppl to let me know what to do next, as first app ever made by me, even partially, and i have no clue how to do this stuff...XD... please and thank you...
