How may I transfer the settings for Firefox and Thunderbird to USB Stick?

dbtogo - May 23, 2009 - 1:16am

I need to dump my bookmarks and mail from Firefox and Thunderbird to my USB stick.
How? Is there an app for this somewhere?
Thanks for the help.

Been meaning to test this

Just got done writing a wikiHow article on using Firefox Portable featuring how to get it, why to use it, and copying the profile over from a locally installed Firefox. Since Thunderbird is also a Mozilla app, the process is likely similar, but I know it's right on for Firefox. And being a Wiki, anybody can update it as necessary. (There's similar information on this site, but some of it is outdated.)
