New major release: 0.8: portable anytime soon?

As you are a new member I will try to be very gentle.
This is considered a NAG/Gimme type post.

Most of the developers here are aware of an update to the host app before the public is. They do not need to be informed when they are updated. In fact it is considered bad form and annoying to make such posts.

Miranda IM v0.8.0 was just released Yesterday!
I am sure that the app will be updated when the developer gets a chance to test any changes that have been made which may have affected portability and done any other testing which may be required. Especially with "a new major release" the changes can be significant.

I am sure you are looking forward to the release of an update but in the future it is best to be patient.
