Anyone know of one that can be run portably? I use SpeedFan (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php) on my home computer and something like that could be quite nice portable. Or maybe it's just the nerd in me that wants to see what the fans and temps are on these computers at school. »

Not necessarily.
They may require admin priveleges, though. Reading CPU/fan/etc. statistics is really low-level stuff. I can't see Windows letting programs on limited/guest accounts execute such instructions.
