Toucan.exe has stopped working message - using commandline

fishofchaos - July 8, 2009 - 3:26am

I just updated to Toucan 2.1.1 which I use from the command line (using a sync job that refers to both source and destination as environment variables). I am using Windows Vista. I think it does the sync and then comes up with the windows message "Toucan.exe has stopped working". I was fine on the previous version.Thanks.

I shall

take a look and this and try and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Use previous version until I hear something

Thanks for you trouble

Thanks

Thanks for taking a look at this. I am receiving the same behavior on a nearly clean install of windows 7 (yes it takes a new OS to get me to update my software Sticking out tongue). Both script and sync commands do the same thing: run successfully, then crash. If it matters, I am syncing a network path. No variables though, unlike fishofchaos. Granting the application administrative privileges does not help.

I

have this fixed in the code now, hopefully I will be able tp post a pre-release so we can check sometime later today Smiling

Could

you try the pre-release here please, I think it should be fixed. Thanks Smiling
