Decrypt problem (with wrong password use 1 time)Submitted by KILERFER on July 21, 2009 - 5:54am
Hello. Sorry my english!! I have a problem decrypting files. I encrypt files using this password: 12345678. So i think that if you try to decrypt one time with a wrong password, you corrupt the file. I have important files with this problem. ( categories: )

What
version are you using? There was an issue with this but the system that had this issue was last included in Toucan almost a year ago, and it hadn't been default or recommended for almost another year before that! This is clearly noted on the Toucan front page and the Toucan support page.

The versión 1.1.2
I use 1.1.2 version
According
to my notes there never was a version 1.1.2, did you mean 1.2.1?

The version is 1.1.2
I have checked it again (Help Settings -> about Toucan)
Are
there any options to chose a different encryption method in your version? If so did you use Blowfish or AES? I fear your data may be lost, if it is using the blowfish method then this was it's failing and why it was quickly replaced, in any case you are using a version of Toucan that is well over a year and a half old, and thirteen releases behind the current one and is such not supported I am afraid.
