I only watched the second one and all he does is unpack the installer and repackage it as a sfx (self extracting archive). This method only works with a small number of programs and he never tells you what happens to the settings of the App.
So I'd say its not the way to go

There isnt anything like a launcher so everything the program does to the registry will remai9n in the registry until you manually clean it
