Description: The free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions. Celestia runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit.
Celestia is expandable. Celestia comes with a large catalog of stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more objects.

The current release is outdated and Nathan9222 is the official developer of the portable version. This is actually a good thing to get this app updated.

Thanks.. I believe everything is the same in this release as the previous one, settings wise. Nothing else besides registry is created and it is backed up by this launcher so I would say this could be released real soon, like maybe a day or two.

Has this been seen so it can become updated on the official page? Is there a way I can do this as this has been here for 2weeks and the actual update of the application seems pretty important to fix many bugs it had before. Just let me know a time frame on when this can be put back out. School starts up for me in about a week and I wont have time to keep checking the site periodically for anything. Oh and Im also gonna go on vacation in about two days and get back the day before school starts. So please let me know asap. Thanks and sorry if I bumped this but I really need to know whats going on with this. Smiling
