Hi!

Great web site !

Please, could you add a warning if someone click on "firefox.exe" instead of "firefoxportable.exe" saying "Hey you donkey ! Use the launcher to keep FF portable !" Eye-wink

Thanks,

Steve

I think that's why it's

I think that's why it's tucked away in the App/ directory - so the user doesn't get confused.

That said, the intent of a lot of portable apps is to avoid changing the original as much as possible; often the program binaries themselves are identical to those that would be installed on a system normally. So intercepting that click might not be so easy... Smiling

The directory structure

is set up to work best with the Portable Apps Platform.
The platform detects any exe file in the first level subdirectories under PortableApps, and lists them in the menu.
