TB3b3 asking to make itself default

Recently installed TB3 beta 3 on my drive, and it keeps asking me at startup whether it should be made the default email client. Then when I went to check the preferences to turn the option to check off, it's already off...?

Is this a bug in TB3 itself, or something with the launcher?
