Manage extensions on TB

Hello the community,
In the page about Thunderbird Portable, I could read that most of the extensions won't work with the software.

However, I need the same extensions as I have on my standard Thunderbird to ease me life.
-> Any idea on how can I manage the problem ? I searched everywhere but found nothing :-/

Does your Portable version match your standard version?

My extensions have always worked in the portable version, the ones I have used have been automatically installed in the "profile" folder, you just need to make sure that you are not using 1.5 extensions in 2.0 or 2.0 in 3.0, it will try to find the extensions for the new version if you are moving up a number, but it doesn't always work which is why I still use 1.5.

it is more like that almost all extensions work with portable, sometimes it can be that some (very few) do not work.
All my extensions do work well with portable TB, I dont know abt any particular one that does not work just now.
