HELP Thunderbird no longer opens - can't access my emails or history

I defragmented my thumbdrive in an effort to find more space and have somehow disabled thunderbird. All the necessary files and folders are still there but now it is opening to an empty screen. Any idea how to get it back? The saved emails are important, the address book more so. Help!
