Can't write to .ini
crookadile - August 28, 2009 - 5:02am
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section or has been asked before but I have searched the forum and can't find the answer.
I have recently bought a new flash drive with a write protect switch.I am now using this drive for my portable apps. The problem I have is that when I try to close the menu I get a message saying :-
"Unable to write to F:\PortableApps\PortableApps.Com\Data\PortableAppsMenu.ini"
I can only close the menu if I unlock the drive or pull the drive from the USB socket.
I can understand why it would want to write to the .ini if I had altered the menu in some way but I have made no alterations so why does it want to write to the .ini.
Is there any way that I can close the drive while leaving the write lock on ( other than pulling it from the socket )
Thanks in advance, Brian

I am using the Beta 3 already John.
Regression
I thought on exit was fixed, but it may be a regression. I know if you change anything it has issues still. I'll look at it.
