GNUCash Scheduled Transaction Issues

I've been unable to come across anyone talking about this on GNUCash's own bugs list, or here, but I seem to be running into a problem where scheduled transactions get stuck. I open the program, I'm reminded about a particular scheduled transaction. I can choose to create, ignore, postpone. I choose to-create, click ok.

But this does nothing at all. The transaction isn't created, and next time I open the program I'm reminded about the same transaction again. No matter what I choose, it keeps on asking me every time I re-open the program and never creates the transaction.

Strangely, other scheduled transactions seem fine. I've had this occur more than once and every time I've ended up just deleting the scheduled transaction and starting over, but it's becoming too much of a hassle to keep using.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems like this? I'm unsure whether it's a weakness in GNUCash, or the portable apps version.
