Description: DriverBackup is a nice driver backup tool that allows a user to create a backup of his or her hardware driver files. DriverBackup preserves drivers of your hardware peripherals by saving them into a user specified location. You can then quickly reinstall your system hardware drivers if need be from the saved location.

Where is the source code? I looked but could not find it anywhere. Also the project is tagged with Visual Basic and Visual Basic .NET. If it requires .NET then as you probably know it can't be made portable at least in the PortableApps sense.
Once you go portable...
".NEThood" means a definite no go. I hadn't seen that and it caused me some grief. I used the app to make a backup of my drivers then reinstalled XP fresh only to find that without the .NET framework I couldn't retrieve my driver backup. To make things worse because I didn't have the motherboard driver without the backup I couldn't access the net to get the framework
