FFP is not storing cookies

flamewolf393 - September 18, 2009 - 1:32pm

It is storing my history and bookmarks just fine, but it is not storing my cookies. I play a lot of flash games that use cookies to create save game files, and this is quite annoying. What is wrong?

Hi all, unfortunately I have

Hi all,

unfortunately I have the same problem.

Of course I checked the privacy settings, if I allowed to accept cookies. And I also confirmed, that the cookies won't be deleted. And I tested via unchecking the option to remove private data while closing FF.

But the problem still exists. Everytime I start FF, all my cookies are gone. Please help, because this is a very annoying problem.

Thanx.

Could be a corrupted cookies database

try closing Firefox completely, then go into the FirefoxPortable\Data\profile directory and move or rename the files cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite.journal to get them out of the way.

Then restart Firefox and see if it now saves cookies.

It's working

Thank you very very much. My problem is solved now.
Finally I can save cookies too Laughing out loud.
