Clarification - it's a computer game, not a Linux distro!
(This post not aimed at the OP, who already knows this!)
When I first saw this post, I thought it was about some mini-Linux distro ("Nexuiz" sounds a vaguely like a word-play on "Linux", and "Damn Small Nuxuix" sounds similar to "Damn Small Linux"!)
It's actually about a first person shooter ("FPS") type computer game like assaultcube - more info on it can be found at: http://alientrap.org/nexuiz/
Thanks for posting this wajmhome!
This would seem like a good
This would seem like a good idea, but the whole distribution of it seems to be aimed at Netbooks, rather than portability. I won't disagree that it would be a good addition, but it would probably be a good addition alongside the normal version of Nexuiz (which by the way, is an AWESOME game
).
Yeah
Oh and guess what!: 2.5.2 is finally out XD
I think if you guys were to develop something for it, you should wait till the Damn Small Nexuiz is brought up to it...I actually think that shouldn't matter though. I have been using the normal Nexuiz Launcher Which can be found here:http://members.home.nl/albartus/portable/NexuizPortable_Launcher.zip
And I could've sworn that Nexuiz was already portable and just needed a launcher so it could fit in with the PAF format.
And as a btw, is there any way for me to be emailed when a post has a comment put on it, because it is really hard to keep track of all the forums I go on by myself, Maybe I should post that on another forum topic, sorry.

It is portable
It is already portable but needs a launcher to seve the data. At the moment when updating to a new version you lose your settings and any progress in the single player campaign.
Logan has updated his launcher so hopefully it eventually gets developed completely (PAF Installer).

Awesome
I have tried out my own compilation of the launcher and all three versions of the Damn Small Nexuiz, and it is 60mb. What I think would be real neat, but probably wont happen for a long time until you guys ever start to make portable apps for more OS's than windows, if you could create a launcher for each OS version. But whatever, I'm content for now. ^ _ ^
