The keyboard mute button does not work when OpenOfficeOrg 3.x+ Portable runs

Megafrog - October 5, 2009 - 10:57am

This bug had been happened while using all the Openoffice.org 3.x portable flavors on a Vista 64 SP2 system and a 2007 (or so) Microsoft multimedia keyboard's mute button. I did not try it on any earlier OOo varieties.

Any OOo application disables the keyboard's mute button. A switch to any other application or the desktop (or just clicking volume control in the taskbar) lets the mute button work. I don't use the non-portable OO.o so is this a portable bug or something with the main program?

It's not earth shattering since the workarounds are so easy but I was wondering if it's something that is planned to be fixed for the sake of total perfection.

Thanks everyone!
