Flash drive compatibility

gpa8r - October 6, 2009 - 10:38pm

I have a 4gb Memorex Travledrive. Is this drive compatible with portable apps, or should I buy something else? I've heard about u3, can I use my present drive for this? Any recommendations? gpa8r

clarification ?

Are you saying that your Memorex travel drive is a U3 drive?

I ask because I know at one time Memorex did make U3 drives.

If it is not a U3 drive, you can not make it one, U3 can not be added to a non-U3 drive by the user.

In either case, yes you can use PortableApps on the drive you menttion.

If the drive is U3 and you install the PAP/PAM (our menuing system) you would wind up having 2 menu systems, one for the U3 LaunchPad and it's apps, one for ours.

If you just install our apps, without the PAP/PAM it will not matter.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

Thanks

Thanks Tim,
That's what I needed to know.

I use a Traveldrive 4gig and it works just fine with PortableApps.
