your not redistributing it though, your distributing the launcher and having the user download from apple's website. But yes, you still need Apple's permission, I'm assuming, like you need google's permission for chrome, for safari. But safari stinks as far as I'm concerned and is used far less then Firefox, even though it came out for windows.
