how to add a shortcut back to the menujhartpr - November 10, 2009 - 7:27pm
Hi there I installed a program, which listed itself 5 different times, so i was trying to find the correct one, and deleted the rest off the list by renaming them to "-" but i deleted the wrong one by mistake, so I was wondering how to add it back to the menu??? Anyone know how to do this? I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks ( categories: )

To get the icon back, you'll need to edit the PortableAppsMenu.ini file within your X:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\Data directory and remove the entry appname\appnameportable.exe=true within the [AppsHidden] section.

Finding the right one
If an app installs several icons with the same name, you might figure out which is which by just hovering over the icon - the latest version of the menu will show the path.
