Hi,

A newbie after advide.

Is there any IM client that will support webcams on Yahoo and MSN?

Thanks for your advice

Not really

I believe that Pidgin may have webcam/audio support some time in the future but information is vague at the moment. I know Miranda definitely does not (at least, not part of the base program, maybe there is a plugin/s).

I think that aMSN has webcam support but I've never used it and naturally it's only for MSN and not Yahoo.

You could try the freeware version of Trillian. However, there are no doubt limitations over the pro version, assuming the freeware version even has Webcam support. I believe it does but with restrictions such as you can't use fullscreen video (not a big deal in my opinion).

there is a webcam plugin. but

there is a webcam plugin. but it requires the other person to be using miranda with the webcam plugin.

Which one

Not sure if you were referring to Miranda or MSN?

Seems odd that Miranda w/web cam would require Miranda w/web cam on the other end though no? Is this true?

if you take a look I'm

if you take a look I'm commenting the user above me, therefore I'm agreeing with the user when he says amsn does support webcam.
