aMSN

I've tried to follow instructions here:

But am unable to understand what the hell it means:/

Basically I can't use my webcam on aMSN. My webcam is setup ok and works as it should, yet soon as I try using it in aMSN I get no picture. In the preferences/others tab scroll down to webcam settings and click next and I get no picture. On the preferences/connections tab click test button under file transfer and I get the message You Are Firewalled or Behind a Router???? I don't use a router and the only firewall i use is windows.

I have vista 32 sp2 home installed. There is a windows firewall, defender and AVG Free so I imagine one of these are the culprit but I can't figure out where to look or what I'm looking for????
