Popup blocker setting not saved/cannot permanently store security exception

1. When I enable a pop-up from a site such as Google Mail, this is not permanently saved; the next time I run I need to enable it again. (Also available from Tools|Options..., Content Tab, dialog from Block Popup Windows Exceptions button).

2. Security certificate exceptions cannot be permanently stored (Tools|Options..., Advanced Tab, Encryption Tab, click View Certificates, and then in the new dialog click Add Certificate). If the 'Permanently Store This Exception' is checked, clicking Confirm Security Exception does nothing.

I have this issue as well and

I have this issue as well and consider it quite important that it be fixed. I run several sites (including my own) with cPanel and WHM. The sad thing is, these sites have invalid security certificates. Every time I want to change something or help a client, I need to revalidate the same invalid cert over and over.

Can somebody please fix this?

Found a fix

"Try deleting the cert_override.txt and cert8.db from your profile folder. Then restart Firefox."

In this case, it will be in portable apps drive\Portable Apps\FirefoxPortable\Data\Profile.

After deletion, I was able store security certs with no problem.

Has anyone found a fix?

When I add an exception for pop-ups, the browser still won't keep it the next time it's opened even though the "permissions.sqlite" file is altered.

Any suggestions?
