LMarbles Portable Dev Test 1
Submitted by kai.inouye on December 12, 2009 - 8:28pm
Application: LMarbles
Category: Games
Description: LMarbles is an Atomix clone with a slight change in concept. Instead of assembling molecules you create figures out of marbles. Nevertheless, the basic game play is the same: If a marble starts to move it will not stop until it hits a wall or another marble. To make it more interesting there are obstacles like one-way streets, crumbling walls and portals...

I've given it a quick look over, and the actual settings file isn't moved. However, you can redirect it which is easier by putting this before RunWait:
System::Call 'Kernel32::SetEnvironmentVariableA(t, t) i("HOME", "$SETTINGSDIRECTORY").n'The launcher can be updated to use ReadINIStrWithDefault, which makes it a lot cleaner, and when I ran it a couple of times I saw no X:\lmarbles.conf being created so any lines relating to that can be deleted.
Besides for that, good work.
Dogbottler says: Don't count your dogs until they're bottled.
Ok,
Ok, thanks but I am a bit confused.
On the settings, they seem to be ok moving from the program dir to the settings dir, but if you mean the lgames/lmarbles.conf in the program directory, It doesn't seem to change after I play the game, so Idk.
And what happens if I put that code on? I tried it but I didn't see anything different.
Thanks
