SFV files checking

I can't seem to find current software here that will check files against SFV's and also create them. Am I missing something? SFV seems to be commonly used on downloads from torrent sites and it is a feature I would like to take advantage of both in downloading and uploading. Can anyone recommend a program or advise if one currently available here has this feature as I can't identify one that does.

Please try

Please try FileVerifier++

http://www.programmingunlimited.net/siteexec/content.cgi?page=fv

It supports SFV (Simple File Verification) format among many others.

The program is open source and you can download either installer version or ZIPped (portable) version.

Thanks!

I'll give it a try.

I just looked at the home page and it states the following:
The hash algorithms currently supported (at the time of this writing) are:

* CRC16
* CRC32
* BZIP2 CRC
* MPEG2 CRC
* JamCRC
* Posix CRC
* ADLER32
* MD4
* MD5
* EDONKEY2K
* RIPEMD-128
* RIPEMD-160
* RIPEMD-256
* RIPEMD-320
* SHA-1
* SHA-224
* SHA-256
* SHA-384
* SHA-512
* WHIRLPOOL
* WHIRLPOOL-T

Is one of these another way of referring to SFV?

SFV = CRC32

SFV = CRC32
