Freecorder Portablekilljoytim - March 16, 2010 - 2:30am
Hi guys, Could you please create a portable version of this awesome application please.. Program: Freecorder Website:http://www.applian.com/sound-recorder/ License:Free Description: Download Video from 1000s of Web sites Other: Video History lets you save recently viewed videos on your PC's hard drive. Thanks for your time and everything else, especially for creating this software. =) Good work. Regards, ( categories: )

Or would http://applian.com/freecorder better version to make
portable? (At least newer!!)
EDIT/ADDITIONAL FYI: my further discovery w/ http://applian.com/freecorder (FCTB):
Though this version advertised to work/ties in with respective Firefox & IE toolbars, I found after you have installed it, if you go to the Start Menu folder^Programs folder^Freecorder folder, then perform the required TWO-icons-double-click, in this respective order:
001a]Applian Technologies, Inc. FLVSrvc, THEN
001b]FCVideo Application[OKtoSTOP~PAUSE VIdOKtoCTRL+SHIFT+DEL BUT NOT OKtoALT+FOR~BACKwardARROWs NOT F5 (nav AWAY FROMpage)!!NOT OK toCLOSE THATtab~page!!],
then, at least the VIdeo .flv part/component, you can DL VIds with even Google Chrome despite fact it's not really advertised to work with Chrome. Don't recall about Apple Safari--maybe another day to test and report back. Can't speak for AUdio .mp3 component cuz haven't tried it yet...
...but because FCTB workED with UNadvertised browser(S), seems to imply to me (not a coder though done some HTML tutorials cut-and-pasting in my time) that there's some sort of native ''portability'' sensibility to Freecorder already, YES/NO??!!!!! Anyone also installed, tried and tested what I said...and agree with moi?
