to run application as portable application you just need to use ceedo or similar application.
like i write on other topic as a reply:"there is some portable applications (like ceedo),that can cause almost any windows application to run as a portable application by using windows emulator, but it may not be freeware.
some of them are Application Menus."

The approach used by Ceedo and the likes is quite different from our approach. The biggest difference as far as we're concerned is ours is open source and free, theirs is closed source and costs money. Our approach is also more compatible with different systems. Theirs is much more tied in to certain operating systems. Ours is a simpler approach which works more readily. We don't and can't support anything like Ceedo. That's not what we do.

Take a look at this shameless imitation:

That's not at all a shameless imitation of our software. Take a look at the Vista start menu. You'll notice quite clearly that their menu is far closer to the Vista start menu than it is to ours.
Lots of the application menus - portable or otherwise - share the general layout. It's nothing dishonest on anyone's part, it's just a good general structure that people have decided works well.

Heh, but anyway, I call them like I see them. I agree that that layout has good general usability.
