Demos of Software?

...can demos be legally made into portable apps? (the ones with limited features or what-not? Such as FlashSlideshowMaker?)

Just wondering...

Yes. But the installer has to be online and download the package during install.

It also will probably never be official on the site, since demos are meant to make the user decide whether they want the full version or not.
