According to Wikipedia, the 9.x versions are betas/unstable.
Weird version jump though from 4 to 9...

yep they are betas but just like how we have google chrome dev/beta we could have this too!

Hate to continue an old topic about the 9.13 beta, but you need to know that 9.20 has been released, and the PortableApps.com version is available for downloading at:
https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable
One advantage is that the PortableApps.com launcher decides if it can use the 32bit or 64bit version of 7-Zip.
