filezilla.exe infected with a Trojan.Agent!?!?

filezilla.exe infected with a Trojan.Agent!?!?

I installed the latest version of malwarebytes anti-malware and updated the definitions.

It then ran it and it found a "Trojan.Agent" in:

PortableApps\FileZillaPortable\App\filezilla\filezilla.exe

Any possibility this is a legitimate infection?

Can someone else run malwarebytes anti-malware and tell me if their portablapps filezilla.exe is infected too?

That would probably be the illegal Z site which does indeed make an illegal portable version of malwarebytes available (using our software illegally as well). I've responded in the forums with the particulars.

Although I didn't even know about the 'z' site having MBAM...never go there...

In my experience, MBAM has been very professional in their approach to things, and is a very good program...And if you browse their forums a bit, you'll notice they really don't like their software being stolen...(which is understandable ;))
