Feedback

OK, some oversights... Sad Although, these should be rather small ones Smile After running the package, it didn't deal with the %LocalAppData%. What I mean is (files added):

C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\App\Xradio\data\radio.sqlite

C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\vlc\CACHEDIR.TAG
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\vlc\plugins-zxzx04.dat
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\compatibility.ini
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\compreg.dat
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\custom.sqlite
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\localstore.rdf
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\mimeTypes.rdf
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\permissions.sqlite
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\places.sqlite
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\pluginreg.dat
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\prefs.js
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\preset.sqlite
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\profile.sqlite
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\Profiles\********.default\xpti.dat
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\Xradio\profiles.ini
C:\PortableApps\XRadioPortable\Data\settings\XRadioPortableSettings.ini

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\xradio\Profiles\********.default\XPC.mfl
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\xradio\Profiles\********.default\XUL.mfl

Is there a reason for radio.sqlite to stay in the App folder? Also, why don't you backup the %LocalAppData% profile? Apart from that, the app works fine, it remembered the preferences nicely, and it even has a few stations in my language(s) Smile

From the registry, only the
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaResources\DirectSound\Speaker Configuration
key was created (not counting MUICache, MRU, Bags, and other "ignorables"....), but I think that's considered clean(?)...

I haven't tested on more machines, since it was leaving some files behind... When it's fixed, I'll test on other machines.

My posts are old and likely no longer relevant.

Just for giggles

can you run it again for me on same machine take shot and compare?
I had similar results but on second run the user profile stuff disappeared and went to the PA folder

So looking at your shot I need to be concerned with the USERPROFILE stuff which I think gets eradicated on second run?

.

Yea, that is the only problem, I think... Oh, it didn't remove itself after second run... Can you come to IRC, I think it's easier that way...
