updating to NEW version of Firefox for U3?

I am running Firefox (1.5) for U3. When I am asked IF I want to upgrade to 1.5.0.4 , is it "safe" for me to upgrade or do I have to wait for PortableApps to "package" a new version of Firefox for U3?
