I know this isn't open source but if anyone wants another audio player, try foobar2000. It sounds like an odd name but i have found it extremely helpful, so far it can play all of the audio formats that I've opened, including .ogg/.oga, and the installer comes with a portable option that works great! It's not exactly Windows media player 12, but i like it, especially for its organizational abilities.
I'm tired of people living in their fantasy world when the clock is ticking away, and when they are unable to see reality for what it is.
someone was working on a foobar clone. also this is the wrong place to request and the request has been made previously (by moi). Oh and Foobar is portable (kinda) and the official installer has a portable option. its not PAF but then agian there is a launcher somewhere here on this board to do that.
Bump. Any update on this? Now we can have freeware in .Paf as well.
Firstly, the foobar2000 license only allows distributing unmodified installers without permission, everything else has to be passed by the developer. Secondly, the link to download the installer is randomly generated, making an online installer more difficult to try. These hurdles make it not worth it for most developers to work on, but I'm sure someone has tried.
