Hi

Did someone ever though of porting Sony Media Go ?

This software is like the Itune for Sony Ericsson phone and Sony PSP/PSP GO.

very restrictive

Sony is known for going after those who violate their EULA more so than Microsoft. thats why this will never happen.

Also its closed source which we dont prefer here. trying to get permission from a big corporation like SONY would be like asking Microsoft to add EXT compatability to Windows 8.

Songibird Portable

Have you tried Songbird Portable? Songbird has support for a lot of hardware devices and even an official relationship with Phillips for their hardware.

If your specific device cannot be synced natively you should be able to use the FolderSync addon to. If you search for PSP on the addon page you'll see many users stating they have use the addon for syncing with their PSPs.
