Firefox Writing To Drive

Firefox's performance on my Cruzer Micro drive simply stinks. Long load time, 5 second delay after a click to see any action. Improves a bit if I go back to my 4Gb drive rather than the 8.

Does Firefox write a lot of small files to the drive while I am browsing? I am thinking I need to buy a new USB drive and wonder if I should be looking for one that has good performance writing small files.

Try a faster drive

I too found Firefox Portable to be very sluggish on my old Imation Atom USB drive. I have since bought a Corsair 'Voyager GT' 16GB and it is much faster.
