FREEMAKE video downloader and Freemake video converter?

Recently I found this program, and I loved it so much. Now I think maybe you could make an official portable version of this software?? They offer only two products video converter where you can convert video to AVI, MP4, WMV, MKV, SWF, 3GP, MPEG, DVD, Blu-ray, MP3, iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP, PS3, Android, YouTube, and more. And Freemake Video Downloader you can download video from YouTube, Hulu, Facebook, MTV, Vevo, ComedyCentral, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Megavideo, Metacafe, Break, 40+ sites.

It's absolutely free. Please guys if it's possible make a portable version of this soft.

Check out official site: http://www.freemake.com/

thanks in advance

They require .NET 4.0

I don't have that version installed, but I will shortly. Then I can take a look at them.

Not Really Portable

As it required .NET 4.0 it's even less portable than normal .NET apps. Normal .NET apps work on 2.0 and Vista and Windows 7 have it preinstalled. 4.0, nothing has it preinstalled and only an admin can install .NET, so the app just won't work on most PCs.

Nope

No Windows XP machines will receive 4.0 installed automatically. It falls under the "Software, Optional" section of Windows Update which is not installed automatically and must be specifically selected and installed by an admin. Security updates within 4.0 once 4.0 has been installed are, of course, automatic.

4.0 will show up as a "Recommended" update (but not "Critical") so it *should* be installed on many Windows Vista and 7 PCs, though certainly not all of them.

Any Chance of perhaps adding this to portable apps?

It's been awhile since this app was requested. Any chance this could be added to the portable apps lineup? Thanks.

Not yet

We still aren't releasing .NET apps due to their portability issues.

At some stage in the future the App Store will have a separate section for .NET-based programs, and the Launcher will be able to detect if the correct .NET version is installed to run the app, but until that time we won't release any programs that require .NET.
