Copying "Profile" from Hard drive didn't work
stuartnz - August 15, 2006 - 7:22am
I copied all files from
C:\Documents and Settings\~\Application Data\Mozilla\Sunbird\Profiles\5mrt7ds9.default
into
SunbirdPortable\Data\profile
and when I opened Sunbird Portable, I got a completely empty calendar. What am I doing wrong? Here's a screenshot of the two directories to illustrate what I've done:

Same version
Be sure it's the same version as the portable one you're using. And be sure to delete anything in SunbirdPortable\Data\profile before copying everything in. Where did the Calendar and chrome files come from?

I only installed Sunbird
