where are cookies stored?

bpmackow (Homepage) - June 25, 2011 - 4:03am

I found a folder on my school user network drive labeled "cookies". It contains cookies from dates when I know I didn't use IE (I used it twice the entire spring semester). I also contained cookies from dates old enough that they should have been deleted when I periodically clear out the cookies.

So what I want to know is, where does Firefox Portable save cookies? There is also ~/FirefoxPortable/Data/profile/cookies.sqlite, could this be it?

( categories: )

yes

this is the cookie box

folders with cookies on installed browsers, well they have strange behaviour, as they will be stored in kind of virtual folders which makes all so confusing.
