Sim City 4 is commercial

Sim City 4 is commercial software. Not legal to make portable, and not going to happen here.

not going to happen

Closed Source. its a shitty game anyways. i have been through 8 copies of the $king game and havent been able to get past the installer. i have complained to EA and they sent me a replacmement. it had the same issue. screw SimCity4 and get Open Transportation Tycoon or Micorpolis.

Commercial Game

Sorry but this program is not free and we have no rights to modify it to make it portable. BUT I don't need to install mine to be able to play it on an USB stick. Just install the game as normal with your game CD/DVD, then either create an .iso from CD2 and load it with Daemon-tools to be able to game without the real cd, or you could also crack the .exe using a file from www.gamecopyworld.com which also works. These 2 methods are legal to use if you personnaly got the game at your home.

Then if you wanna play it over USB stick, you just have to copy the whole game folder onto the memory stick (also with the .iso or cracked .exe already in place). You will only need to install Daemon-tools on the computer you want to game with, reboot, then just load the game. Have fun ^^ The game only looks for CD2 before being able lo launch the game.

@Mir,

if you are too stupid to just install a game and play then better not use computer at all.

I have tried several version of the game and every versions worked on Windows XP 32/64 and Windows 7 32/64. Anyways once the game is installed you don't need to reinstall it anymore.

I've tried mint SimCity 4, then bought myself a SimCity 4 deluxe on CDs, then gave it to my brother and went to buy that same SimCity 4 deluxe on DVD, which is more convenient than old CDs slowlyness and it fits only on one DVD disc. All 3 versions always worked flawless on any Windows.

tried the iso trick

didnt work. it always choke on the second disc. Also i only tried Sim Coty 4 Deluxe and i tried it on XP Vista and in Wine. hell its suppsoe to be SILVER on wine as long as you do the ISO trick. but no each time i was sent duplicates of disc one. Also i tried using 2 optical drive as well which didnt work.

so dont call me STUPID and that i should not use a computer if you dont know the effort that went into getting the flippiant game running. i would not have ever gotten a job with the federal government working in their IT section if i was too STUPID to use a computer. now that i am not in IT due to buget issues, i would not be the go to person when they need some information or tricks if i was too STUPID to use a computer.

as for the DVD... that actualy sound like that might work than this stupid bulshit 2 disc set i have run through. to bad i hear the DVD edition used that SECURrom DRM thats so nasty. Just like Just Cause it required me to install a EXE crack which you mentioned. NO-CD cracks are nice especaly if they have that damned DRM.
