until recent version, it was possible to set ff to clear the dl list automatically when downloads are finished. it seems it's no longer possible to do that without disabling the browsing history. OR IS IT? ( categories: )

Options, privacy, pull down "remember history" and change it to "use custom settings for history".

umm, that's exactly the issue
umm, that's exactly the issue i'm talking about in my previous post.
until ff 13, it was possible to do that without disabling browsing history.
but now, even though you set it to "use custom settings for history", all you get is "remember my browsing and download history".
in order to disable dl history, you have to disable browsing history, too.
you can't set them independently. it's an all or nothing situation.
but thanks anyway.
so, anyone got any other ideas?
