Does anyone know if there's a way to have PChat maintain your IRC nick (like when your client disconnects and reconnects with alternate nick, to have it automatically reclaim it on timeout). Apparently Xchat has a /maintainnick feature but didn't see it in Pchat.

xchat and therefor PChat as well does not have maintain nick, it's introduced using a third party plugin called xscript which is a perl script.

I see. Is it possible for me to add that xscript to Pchat to get this functionality? I'm a bit unfamiliar with how that all works.
Edit: I think I answered my own question. I downloaded the Perl for Pchat plugin and loaded b0ats Nick Recovery script. So far so good. I did have to remove an extra parenthesis in the code on line 69 to make it work though.
