Multiple install issues with LO 3.6.1.1

I just attempted an install of LibreOfficePortable_3.6.1.1_MultilingualNormal.paf.exe into an older installation of LibreOfficePortable.

Here's what happened:

1) All of my settings were ignored. Good thing I always backup the current setup before installing a new one so all I have to do is delete 3.6.1.1.

2) All "normal" languages were installed in addition to US English. No option to remove unwanted languages.

3) Instructions say to this will install to existing installation and that is where I pointed the setup to, but instead of that, a new LO folder was created in addition to the old portable installation folder.

4) I am clueless why my existing templates were not located and used?

Nothing personal to all of you very-hard working dedicated developers, but from my perspective, its why bother with PA-LO. Am I expected to spend hours hunting, matching, and then, assuming I locate everything, copying my settings that have taken years to compile?

What am I missing here? - Thanks anyway.
I've been a professional IBM mainframe software engineer for 36 years, so I know its just me.

Odd Directory?

In portable installers, you select the overall path to install to and then it fills in the directory it will after. So, you'd select X:\PortableApps in the browser function and it would add LibreOfficePortable to that making it X:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable. Did you accidentally select X:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable so it became X:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable\LibreOfficePortable? Or did you have the old install as a custom directory you typed in manually and did not do the same now?

Generally, it's best to use the PortableApps.com Platform and let it automatically handle all your updates automatically via the updater and pick your install paths for you when you manually install an app.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thank you John!

I don't know how you accessed my PC, but I tried it again and now LOP 3.6.1.1 installed/updated into the custom directory properly. I also updated to 3.6.2 and installed the full offline help (how can anyone work without it?) 3.6.x seems slower opening than my previous version of LOP_3.4.3.

Thanks again!
