I can confirm the problem, which the member eaw mentioned. With the earlier portable version 2.0.3 this problem doesn't occurs. Unfortunately, I do not know if this is a bug in the new version 2.0.4 or rather a bug in this portable version.
EDIT: In the meantime I have installed the VLC Player 2.0.4 in my Sandboxie after downloading the installer file from the official website . In this case the crash also occurs. In this respect it seems likely, that this is a bug in the official release 2.0.4.
