Great, thanks.

At first thanks for your efforts.
Is it possible to import my profile from the old version?

I doubt it. You could try

I doubt it. You could try messing with it manually (the profile is mainly the cfg folder), but I've never really used this app myself, and never version 0.9.

With some effort you could edit the files, I'm sure, but you may be best off starting fresh.

Nevermind

It works properly so far, but the updater makes some trouble.

wrong link for the JDownloader site

just letting you know the link you have (for Website) goes to netbeans.org instead of jdownloader.org

Fixed. Anyway, now I'm

Fixed.

Anyway, now I'm messing with IDM, my favorite download manager, and it has to be by far the hardest app to make portable that could ever be made portable.

There really is no good way

There really is no good way to tell when this app gets updated, and they don't update the DL on the site. I did update it today though.

I added a file CleanUpdate.cmd. I would not use it on your build, but I use it in my build process.

I temp run the updater (which I don't want enabled as it will force update you and you can't turn it off), and update the app, then delete the crap logs and toolbar installer.

It is meant to be run on a build that has never been run.

I'm going to see if I can

I'm going to see if I can auto-build and upload this, as it updates very quickly.

Just a note, this updates too

Just a note, this updates too quickly for me to release (like every day), but there is a batch file in there that will update it for you (Won't change version listed in appinfo.ini).

Help needed!

First of all, thank you for your great efforts. They are very much appreciated.

I use JDownloader quite a bit and would like to use update option you mentioned.
But obviously I am not smart enough and I can't get it done. I downloaded the
package again, installed it and looked for the "batch file" you talked about.
But I couldn't find it.
Unfortunetly I am not a computer "geek", so i need your help. Sad

Please describe to me, how the updates can be done. Thank you for your help! Smiling

Turns out they broke it

Turns out they broke it anyway, so don't use it.

I'll see if I can do another update (they changed a lot).

Pleeeaaassee!

An "official" update would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!

Any news on this? Thank you.

Any news on this?

Thank you.

It updates basically multiple

It updates basically multiple times a day and often changes structure.

This release is likely going to rot until 2.0 is stable and not updated so much.
